Abstract:

Objective

To discuss the high risk factors for acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning (AOPP) combined with acute pancreatitis(AP).

Methods

A retrospective analysis was done on the clinical data of 225 patients with AOPP admitted in emergency department of Liaocheng people's hospital from January 2013 to June 2016. There were 104 males and 121 females, with average age of (38.2±8.5)years. The patients were divided into two groups according to difference in pesticide poisoning dosage, time from poisoning to gastric lavage, and whether drinking or eating before poisoning. By comparing incidence rate of AP in the two groups, we analyzed the risk factors for AOPP combined with AP.

Results

The incidence rate of AP in high poisoning dosage group was significantly higher than that in low poisoning dosage group. The incidence rate of AP in long poisoning time group was significantly higher than that in short poisoning time group. The incidence rate of AP in drinker group was significantly higher than that in non-drinker group, but there was no significant difference between empty stomach group and after meal group.

Conclusion

AOPP combined with AP is associated with pesticide poisoning dosage, time from poisoning to gastric lavage, and poisoning before drinking.
