The Pre-operative preparation time, the times of the nurses out of surgery room, the satisfaction of the surgeons, and the comprehensive ability of the hand-washing nurses were observed and evaluated before and after the training.

Results

The average times of nurses out of the surgery room before training was 7.21 times. The average times of nurses out of the surgery room after training was reduced to 4.63 times (P<0.05); the overall satisfaction score of the surgeon after training was 97.2 points, which was significantly higher than the pre-training 90.9 points (P<0.05), among which the process familiarity, operation technique and the scores of proficiency, environmental sanitation and nursing attitude were significantly improved after training (P<0.05). After training, the average comprehensive ability score of hand-washing nurses was 94.9 points, which was significantly higher than 86.7 points before training (P<0.05). Among it, the team spirit, brain development, communication coordination, nursing confidence, honor responsibility and other five aspects of the training were improved after the training (P<0.05).
