Abstract:

Objective

To explore the effect of three-dimensional case teaching method in active abdominal compression-decompression cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.

Methods

A total of 60 students who were trained in the standardized training of general practitioners at Zhengzhou People’s Hospital affiliated to Southern Medical University in 2018 were selected. According to the training ID code, the students were divided into the experimental group (N=30)and the control group (N=30)by the digital parity method. The experimental group utilized three-dimensional case teaching method while the control group used the traditional lecture-based teaching method. After the training, assessment and questionnaire survey were used to evaluate the teaching effect.

Results

The theoretical test scores of the experimental group(89.83±5.33), and the control group (86.17±6.52) were statistically different (P<0.05). The skill scores of the experimental group were (84.17±5.43), and those of the control group were (78.50±5.44 ). The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The results of the questionnaire survey showed that case three-dimensional teaching method was superior to the traditional teaching method in enhancing learning interest, improving thinking ability, deepening learning impression, enhancing thinking initiative, and strengthening theoretical and clinical bridging. The differences was statistically significant (all P<0.05).

Conclusions

The application of case three-dimensional Teaching Method in active abdominal compression-decompression cardiopulmonary resuscitation training of general practitioners is beneficial to improving students’ theoretical and skill scores, improving thinking ability, enhancing thinking initiative, increasing learning interest, deepening learning impression and strengthening theoretical and clinical bridge.
