Clinical effects of blood pressure monitoring of extremities under seamless intervention in the rescue of aortic dissection

Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the effect of blood pressure monitoring of extremities under seamless intervention in the rescue of aortic dissection (AD).

Methods

Twenty-two patients with AD who underwent blood pressure monitoring of the extremities under seamless first aid intervention from January 2017 to June 2019 in our hospital were collected as observation group, and the control group included 19 patients with AD treated by conventional emergency care from January 2015 to December 2016. The early warning time, AD diagnosis time, total emergency time, and systolic blood pressure compliance rate were observed after emergency intervention in the two groups.

Results

There was a statistically significant difference in the warning time, diagnosis time, and total emergency time between the two groups of AD patients (t=9.05, 7.84, 19.33, P<0.01). The compliance rate of systolic blood pressure in the observation group was better than that in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.87, P<0.05).

Conclusion

Extremity blood pressure monitoring with seamless intervention reduces AD warning time and diagnosis time, regulates AD first aid, effectively reduces systolic blood pressure, and improves the timeliness of the number of confirmed cases.
