Abstract:

Objective

To formulate an individualized continuous intervention plan for patients after hip arthroplasty, and to explore its application effect in the early stage of home rehabilitation.

Methods

A comparative study was conducted on 100 patients with unilateral total hip arthroplasty who were admitted to the Department of Orthopedics, Wujin Hospital Affiliated to Jiangsu University from April 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. Among them, there were 47 males and 53 females, aged 58-83 years, with an average of (70.12±13.74) years. The subjects were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group with 50 cases in each group according to the random number table method. The experimental group used video application, perioperative reinforcement, and reconsolidation before discharge, while the control group only used routine nursing methods. The indicators of hip joint function and quality of life during hospitalization, 1 month and 3 months after discharge were compared between the two groups.

Results

Three months after discharge, the hip joint function scores of the two groups of patients (78.02 were admitted to the Department were significantly higher than those in the control group (71.35±9.47 in the control group); the scores of quality of life of patients 3 months after discharge (98.47ion scores of the two groups of patients (78.02 were admitted to the Dein the control group (93.06±17.34), the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of the other two time nodes in the experimental group were also significantly higher than those in the control group, but there was no statistical significance between the two groups (P>0.05).

Conclusion

The improvement characteristics of joint function of patients in different periods are different. Nurses should adopt individualized intervention plan according to the change characteristics of joint function in different periods, so as to improve the hip joint function and life ability of patients and meet the physical and mental needs of patients.
