Clinical application ofhome-made intra-abdominal pressure monitoring device in patients with multiple injuries of ICU

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the clinical application effect of home-made intra-abdominal pressure monitoring device in patients with multiple injuries of ICU.

Methods

Home-made intra-abdominal pressure monitoring device and traditional piezometer tube were adopted to measure 64 patients with multiple injuries hospitalized in the ICU of Tiantai County People’s Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022; the monitoring data and operation hours of different methods were compared.

Results

There was no significant difference in the data of intra-abdominal pressure measured by the two methods(P>0.05). Compared with operation hours, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).

Conclusions

The home-made monitoring device can not only accurately monitor the intra-abdominal pressure of patients with multiple injuries in ICU, but also improve clinical work efficiency and control economic costs, which is suitable for the promotion and application of the treatment of patients with multiple injuries in primary hospitals.
