Abstract:

Objective

To explore the application effect of immersive virtual reality (IVR) combined with high-simulation injury makeup technology in trauma emergency medical treatment training to provides reference for improving the quality of training.

Methods

Thirty-five physicians who participated in trauma treatment in our hospital from June 2021 to September 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into two groups, 18 in the IVR training group and 17 in the traditional training group. Among them, the traditional training group completed 4-month trauma treatment training (4 times a month); The IVR training group replaced the traditional training with IVR training courses. The trauma drill scores of the two groups of physicians were compared after the training.

Results

After training, the drill scores of the IVR training group and the traditional training group were improved [the IVR training group (74.11rill ) vs. (87.39rill ) and the traditional training group (73.53onal ) vs. (82.94onal )]; the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05); after training, the IVR training group had a higher exercise score than the traditional training group [(87.39VR tr) vs. (82.94VR tr)]. The difference between the scores before and after training in the IVR training group was higher than that in the traditional training group [(13.22the s) vs (9.412the ) ]; all of which were statistically significant (P<0.05). The NASA-TXL score between the two groups was [(46.45NASA-T)vs(47.77ASA-TX)], but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). The questionnaire survey results showed that 94.4% (17/18) of physicians agreed that IVR combined with high-fidelity makeup technology had a good environmental experience at the treatment site; 83.3% (15/18) agreed that the sensory experience was good, and 77.8% (14/18) of physicians agreed that the training method had a good effect on learning.

Conclusions

Training courses based on immersive virtual reality combined with high-simulation injury makeup technology and traditional training courses can improve the ability of emergency trauma medical treatment, and IVR training courses have better training effect and promotion value.
