Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the application of modified airway management vehicle in emergency airway management.

Methods

80 cases were divided into two groups: group A and group B, 40 cases each. Group A, the control group, was not treated with the modified airway management vehicle, and Group B, the experimental group, with the modified airway management vehicle. Endotracheal intubation time was recorded, and compared between the two groups.

Results

The time of group A was (5.90±1.23) min, and that of group B was (4.50±0.78) min.

Conclusion

The preparation and operation time of endotracheal intubation under the video laryngoscope after using the modified airway management vehicle is obviously shortened, which is of great significance for rescue.

Key words: Modified airway management vehicle, Video laryngoscope, Endotracheal intubation, Emergency
