Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the status of pre-hospital care and medical health emergency in Kashi prefecture.

Methods

The investigation was applied through the establishment of standard questionnaire including pre-hospital emergency resources, emergency center construction and operation and health emergency equipment in Kashi Prefecture from April to June in 2016.

Results

14 medical units in Kashi completed the investigation. The result showed thatmost districts and counties (72.4%)have established medical health emergency centers to carry out emergency services. All the 14 emergency centers have been equipped with 62 ambulances. The 42.6% emergency centers were equipped with "120" dispatch software. Only half of the emergency centers established emergency stores. Medical and health emergency rescue drills were pursued regularly in each center. The centers have withstood the test of many sudden health incidents.

Conclusion

The system of medical health emergency in Kashi Prefecture has taken shape initially, so it is urgent to increase investment and carry out scientific and standardized construction.
