Abstract:
Objective To analyze the disease pattern changes in death patients aged from 30 to 59 years so as to provide basis for adjusting the allocation of medical resources in departments of the hospital.
Methods Retrospective collection was done on data of death patients aged 30-59 years in home page of medical records from two Five-Year Plan periods (1992-1996 and 2012-2017). Main diagnosis, age and prognosis of the patients were analyzed.
Results After 20 years, there was a significant difference in disease pattern of death patients aged 30-59 years (χ2=165.33, P<0.05). Circulation system diseases and respiratory diseases were increased by 13.9% and 6.9% respectively. The proportion of tumor disease was reduced by 7.4%. The rank of other diseases also changed at various degrees.
Conclusion Based on the changing pattern and characteristics of the disease, hospitals and society should pay attention to early diagnosis and prevention of circulatory disease and reasonably allocate the existing health resources and hence reduce the risk of death in patients aged 30-59 years.
