Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Huoxuehuazhuo Decoction and Edaravone on Cerebral Infarction

Objective

To analyzethe therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine Huoxuehuazhuo Decoction combined with Edaravone on cerebral infarction.

Methods

66 Cases of cerebral infarction patients set up a comparative study and were randomly divided into control group of 33 cases with conventional western medicine edaravone treatment and observation group of 33 cases with edaravone combined with the traditional Chinese medicine Huoxue Huazhuo Decoction treatment. The clinical treatment effect of two groups of patients was summarized.

Results

The total effective rate was 30 (90.91%) in the observation group which wassignificantly higher than 24 (72.73%) in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the ADL score of observation group was better than that of control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion

Traditional Chinese medicine Huoxuehuazhu Decoction combined with western medicine edaravone used in cerebral infarction has a good clinical effect with the application and promotion of value.
